Very few peop0le regularly build Frog or spawn kits for two simple reasons- 1 they are no longer freely available and 2 most of those that are around S/H are snapped up by collectors. This will always be a quiet forum unless someone again imports them in quantity without bells and whistles at reason...

The models you see on this forum were tooled many years ago, they were ahead of the game at the time and can still compete with current tools when built by a skillful modeller. I remember this kit of old, it was a very old model with if I remember rightly a clear plastic disc and spinner to represent a spinning prop. It never did have a pilot or seat- a feature it had in common with the P-47 and the Spitfire 1/5.

Martin, Do you mean the sort of putty you use to seal a glass window in its frame? Tim, unless their are two more votes for something else the Comet Racer will win as the southern cross build stalls today until a new set of decals is found.

To avoid the same thing happening again a new set of decals for G-ACSP "Black Magic" from the new Airfix boxing will be used.
