Buccaneer Mk.2A which underwing weapons?

Hi all

I'm not convinced that XV348 carried mantel missiles, as supplied in the Frog kit, Can I get away with two slipper fuel tanks on the inner pylons and SNEB rocket pods on the outer Pylons? This is Honington 1970.

difference between Frog Mirage IIIE/O and Mirage 5D?

Hi all
I've just read Tom Cooper's and Abdallah Emran's book about the 1973 war and that Libya flew Mirage 5Ds in combat.

Can I make this version from the Fog kit and what do I have to do beyond adding extension to the verticle tail fin?

Thanks in anticipation.

Swordfish and the Bismark

Hi all I thought I'd do a little research before I got my Swordfish down from its usual function as loft insulation! Despite the claims on the rear of the box, I'm finding it difficult via various forums to support any claim it was involved in action against the Bismark. Yes it was based on the Ark ...

How do I improve the Frog Harrier Mk.1 Ground attack V/Stol?

Hi all Despite the box art showing the nose side recce camera, it does not appear to be moulded in plastic. The nose is just a smooth contour. Has anyone attempted to recreate the camera port? Otherwise the shape of the plane seems accurate. Only to be let down by the shape of the under belly/wing a...

Re: Frog Firefly Mk.1

I hope when I retrieve mine from the stash, that I achieve a similar high standard.

Though I wish there were more colour schemes to choose from. For example 1771 Sqn from HMS Implacable. May 1944 attack on Tirpitz.

Securing control surfaces so avoiding breakages

I remember ailerons, elevators and rudders breaking off (mostly held in place with two pins to the tailplane/wings.

Have you any suggestions for strengthening these attachments?

I thought about filing a concave groove in the tailplane/wings then use superglue.

Any suggestions welcome.

Re: Novo Airspeed Oxford conversion to air ambulance

Because I am representing an ambulance, it's tempting to leave the underside as Frog intended; nicely curving rather than the boxed shape protrusion as evident on the Admiral/AZ model (right).

Re: Novo Airspeed Oxford conversion to air ambulance

Using scriber to score lines on both sides of the raised rib lines, will allow me to accurately glue the Plastruct.

Note, I have not yet learnt how to print out scale plans to exactly 1/72
