The AZ model on the right will act as a guide to improving the Novo kit.

I expect construction will take longer than a year

Reset warped wing*
Add convincing ribbing detail.
Fill forward, underneath observers panel.
Cut out fuselage entry door.
Replace canopy with accurate after-market on and fair into fuselage.
Replace late RAF roundels with type A1 roundels

*Not sure if it's Novo's fault or from being in the loft for 33 yrs!

Based on an actual aircraft: seeatachment.

The time-line of this kit can be found here:

I'll be interested to see how you progress on this, I've a Novo ( I think) Oxford kit, bagged with no decals or header & a crude indecipherable instruction sheet. I keep thinking I should invest in an AZ/Admiral one, but maybe, if you can show the way with this..... :)
Steve.

Using scriber to score lines on both sides of the raised rib lines, will allow me to accurately glue the Plastruct.

Note, I have not yet learnt how to print out scale plans to exactly 1/72

Because I am representing an ambulance, it's tempting to leave the underside as Frog intended; nicely curving rather than the boxed shape protrusion as evident on the Admiral/AZ model (right).
