Frog Firefly Mk.1

Unread postby ejboyd5 » Tue Jan 27, 2015 6:01 pm

Though perhaps outclassed (and certainly out priced) by more modern issues, I'm still a fan of Frog and its dedication to FAA subjects.  This Firefly resplendent in BPF markings represents one of 837 Squadron's aircraft while on board HMS Glory in the immediate post-war period.

A nice job done on what I reckon is a very nice kit, even by modern standards. Several in my stash :)

I hope when I retrieve mine from the stash, that I achieve a similar high standard.

Though I wish there were more colour schemes to choose from. For example 1771 Sqn from HMS Implacable. May 1944 attack on Tirpitz.
