Supermarine Attacker F.1 prototype

Unread postby CSMO » Wed Sep 02, 2015 4:02 am

Novo boxing. Wheel wells and cockpit cut out and scratch-built. Scratch-built gear legs, dual tail-wheel, and gear doors. Seat, panel, stick, and tail-hook from the spares box. Brush-painted testors Silver thinned with lacquer thinner. Spares-box decals and custom-made serial numbers from an Aussie friend, Fred Coulson.

Adios, Larry.

Field Artillery brings dignity to what otherwise would be merely a vulgar brawl.

A huge improvement on the original Larry, just shows what can be done by generous applications of skill, maybe with some added determination. :D
I've one of these in stock (or at least a frog spawn repop) but I think I'll stick with the AZ one for a finished article, even if the frog one is 'sposed to be quite accurate dimensionally.
Steve.
